Greg McCabe

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. McCabe brings almost 40 years of experience to Next Bridge, and working with geologist, Rich Masterson, was extremely active in the early development of the Wolfbone play in the Delaware Basin portion of the Permian Basin. The experience and knowledge learned in the Wolfbone play helped formulate McCabe and Masterson’s theories and concepts regarding the Orogrande Basin.

In October 1984, McCabe formed McCabe Petroleum Corporation, which he owns and manages today. McCabe has active ownership in several other oil and gas entities including Manix Royalty, Texas Rock Oil, and TRO-X. McCabe graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1984 from Sul Ross State University.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Wurtele is an experienced financial executive who has served as Chief Financial Officer for several public and private companies over his career. He has a broad range of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, and executive management, having been responsible for financial and SEC compliance reporting for several companies, principally in the oil and gas space.

Robert served as CFO of Torchlight Energy Resources Inc. until the company entered a merger transaction in June 2021. He has been engaged to date as a consultant to Next Bridge Hydrocarbons Inc, providing assistance in financial reporting and with additional controllership matters as requested.

Non-Employee Director

Mr. Pocock is a long-time shareholder, USAF veteran, and public servant with expertise in governmental relations. He is a retired 25-year veteran of law enforcement in the State of Connecticut, commanding both Patrol and Detective Divisions of his department before retirement. During Mr. Pocock’s tenure in law enforcement, he gained extensive investigative experience in a multitude of disciplines, including the investigation of embezzlement, fraud, theft, and the misapplication of funds. Administratively, Mr. Pocock upheld high ethical standards in police evidence room practices, developing auditing procedures to meet or exceed strict state compliance standards. Additionally, he provided counsel on multiple database development projects for the state and National Incident Reporting System (NIBRS). Mr. Pocock received a B.S. degree from the Florida Institute of Technology, an M.S. from the University of Louisville, and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.

Founded the BP Structured Products team and managed it for 13 years, including registering as the first non-bank Swap Dealer per Dodd-Frank regulations; as well as managed responsibilities for theStructuring and Quantitative Analytics groups. Enabled execution of innovative, cross-commodity and finance-linked transactions in support of customer energy opportunities.
Strategic Advisor to IKAV Energy, Inc. in its acquisition of its San Juan Basin natural gas production assets in 2020.Officer of IKAV Energy and CFO from inception to January 2021.
Previous experience as a Director at Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank in Energy Commodity Trading and Finance group and Head of Origination at American Electric Power Energy Services.

Founder and President of the MISS Academy, a finishing school that provides training in life skills through the fundamentals of pageantry. The MISS Academy was accredited by the Miss Universe Organization in 2020, creating a national and international franchising program partnership.

Robert Lance Cook spent 36 years at Shell Oil with final positions of Vice President of Wells Technology and Chief Scientist. Mr. Cook has extensive experience in Deepwater, Arctic, and Unconventional Research &Development and Operations. Mr. Cook is the founder and CEO of Enventure Global Technology, a joint venture between Shell and Halliburton. Mr. Cook has served as the COO of Sirius Well Manufacturing, a joint venture between Shell and CNPC and is a technologist with an extensive patent portfolio. Since retiring from Shell in2016, Mr. Cook has served as Vice President of Production Operations for WellsX Inc. from 2017 to 2020 and in2020, he founded and continues to serves as president and chief technology officer of Sage Geosystems Inc.
